Let x be the number of weeks from now of working out. The number of people working out in the morning after x weeks is 96 + 2x. The number of people working out in the afternoon after x weeks is 80 + 3x. The equation that represents the given is,

96 + 2x = (80 + 3x) (2)

The value of x is equal to - 16 which does not make sense.
