To find out the number of boxes Chloe can fill, you find the number of times 12 can go into 112. The number of times 12 can go into 112 is 9 times. This means that she can fill 9 boxes. So knowing this information, you multiply 12 by 9 to get 108. In order to find out the number of cookies left over, you subtract 108 from 112 to get 4. This means that Chloe will have 4 cookies left over.
