A contractor is building a circular swimming pool. The radius of the circle 12 feet. He needs to know the circumference in order to buy tile to put around the edge of the pool. What is the circumference if he uses = 22/7?

    C=Pi X D

    Diameter is twice the radius so that would be 24 feet

    C = Pi X 24

    C = (22/7) X 24

    C = 75.428 Feet.

    2 (22/7) (12) = 24 (22/7) = 75.4285714286
