How to solve ln (-x+5) = ln (7-2x)

    Basically, you have to multiply to the other side.

    1) you would multiply - x with 7 (will become - 7x)

    2) multiple - x with - 2x (will become + 2x power of 2)

    3) multiple + 5 with 7 (will become + 35)

    4) multiple + 5 with - 2x (will become + 10x)

    the whole equation would turn into (-7x+2x {power of 2}+35+10x. the combine like terms
