    To calculate the ratio

    18 : 2 simplified to 9

    45 : 5 simplified to 9

    36 : 4 simplified to 9

    and

    27 : x

    To figure out what x is

    divide 27 by 9

    that is 3

    so your answer is 27 : 3

    x = 3
