Step-by-step explanation:
1. Put your data in order from least to greatest
2. Find and label the smallest value, first quartile, median, third quartile, and largest value
3. Draw and label a number line
4. put a dot above the number on your number line that coressponds with the smallest value
5. and do the same and put 3 more dots that corespond to Q1, Q3, and your largest value above your number line
6. Connect the dot for the lowest value to the Q1 dot
7. Connect the dot for Q3 to the dot for the largest value
8. Now Make a rectangle in the space in between Q1 and Q3
9. Once you've done that all you do is draw a line down where your median is which will split the rectangle. (not always in half)
