    So, 3 is equivalent to 9/3. Our problem would be 9/3-3/7

    Simplify:

    = 63/21-9/21

    = 54/21

    = 2 4/7

    to get that you gotta see what the lcf of the two denominators which is seven and what you do to the bottom you want to do to the top so now its 21/7 then you minus the nominator so 21-3=18 so it is 18/7 simplified to 2 6/7

    so the answer is 2 6/7
