You have to find the multiple of 2 and 3. 2,4,6 and 3,6. You have to multiply the numerator and denominator of 1/2 by 3 = 3/6. Now multiply the numerator and denominator of 2/3 by 2 = 4/6. Then add 3/6 + 4/6 = 7/6. Finally simplify 7/6 = 1 1/6
