A wisconsin-based dairy farm has 1,200 cows in their milking herd that collectiviley produce 160,500 pounds of milk products per square kilometer of grazing pasture for a total of 7,704,000 pounds of milk products. How many square kilometers do these cows get to roam around on?

    First off you don't need the first part. You can simply divide 7,704,000 by 160, 500 to get 48.15. Which means the dairy farm has around 48 square kilometers of ground for the cows to roam.
