A student wanted to find the sum of all the even numbers from 1 to 100. He said:The sum of all the even numbers from 1 to 100 is twice the sum of all the odd numbers from 1 to 100. The sum of all the odd numbers from 1 to 100 is 1002.

Explain why each of these statements is incorrect.

    There would only be 50 odd numbers between 1 and 100 so therefor there would be 50 even so that would only be 50 odd numbers
