We can obtain 8% of a value by finding the 10% of the value and subtract 2% of the value
10% of 310 = 310:10 = 31
1% of 310 = 310:100 = 3.1
2% of 310 = 2*3.1 = 6.2
8% of 310 = 31 - 6.2 = 24.8
