A right triangle has an angle that measures 55 degrees. The leg adjacent to this angle has a length of 43 cm. What is the length of the other leg of the triangle? Round to the nearest tenth.

    Tan (55) = opposite / 43

    opposite = 43 * tan (55)

    opposite = 43 * 1.4281

    opposite = 61.4083

    x = tan (55) * 43

    x = 61.4 cm
