    S = 2lw + 2lh + 2wh

    S = 2 (8.3) (2) + 2 (8.3) (5) + 2 (2) (5)

    S = 33.2 + 83 + 20

    S = 136.2cm²

    A rectangular prism has 6 faces.

    Area of middle 4 faces:

    8.3x2 = 16.6

    16.6x4 = 66.4

    Area of 2 faces on the sides:

    2x5=10

    10x2=20

    So surface area = 66.4+20 = 86.4

    Answer: 86.4cm^2
