    Henry's squash is sweeter

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Ratios

In order to find out which persons squash is sweeter, you have to realize that the higher the percentage of squash to water means that it is sweeter.

    Henry

ratio of squash to water is 7 : 4

    finding the percentage of squash

    7 + 4 = 11, this is the denominator

NOTE : to get the percentage, multiply the fraction by 100

    = 7 / 11 * 100

    = 63.6 %

    Paul

ratio of squash to water is 8 : 5

    finding the percentage of squash

    8 + 5 = 13, this is the denominator

NOTE : to get the percentage, multiply the fraction by 100

    = 8/13 * 100

    =61.5 %

Henry percentage of squash is 63.6 % while Paul's percentage of squash is 61.5%. hence the one with the greater percentage is Henry

The answer is : Henry's squash is sweeter
