A painter charges by the square foot and charges 1875 to paint a 750 square foot rental house if you need a 1300 square foot rental house painted how much should the painter charge you to paint that house

    First you need to find how much he charges for one square foot. divide the cost by the area.

    1875/750 = $2.5 per square foot

    then multiply cost per square foot by the amount you need

    1300*2.5 = $520
