An old coin is kept in a cubic box in such a way that the outline of the coin touches the 4 walls of the box, if the base of the box has a 24 cm perimeter, what is the area of the coin?

    Step-by-step explanation:

    side of box = 24/4 = 6

    diameter of coin would be 6 too

    area of coin = pi x (6/2) ^2 = 28.2743
