The ratio of bananas to peaches in a fruit basket is 4 to 1. If there are 4 peaches in the fruit basket then how many bananas and peaches are there altogether?

    20 is your answer. 4 peaches 16 bananas

    If for every 4 bananas there is 1 peach, and there are 4 peaches in the fruit basket, then that means there are 16 bananas in the fruit basket and 16+4=20 so your answer is 20!
