we have to find a common denominator for the fractions so

    1/2 1/4 1/5

    they all go into 20

    so

    10/20 5/20 4/20

    in total that is 19/20

so the last son has 1/20 which is seven

so 20/20 is 20 times that amount which is 140

    140 cows
