molly runs 1/3 of a mile in 4 minutes if molly continues at the same speed, how long will it take her to run one mile

    1/3 a mile = 4 minutes

    3/3 (1 mile) = ? minutes

    If you multiply 1/3 by 3, you get 1 mile.

    So if you multiply 4 by 3 you 12 minutes.

    It will take 12 minutes to run a whole mile.
