    Two angles are supplementary when they add up to 180 degrees.

    x = smaller angle

    2x+3 = larger angle

    x + 2x + 3 = 180

    3x = 180 - 3

    3x = 177

    x = 177/3

    x = 59 ° ← smaller angle

    2x + 3 = 2*59 + 3 = 121° ← larger angle
