Total rental cost = $60 + $10

= $70

Total amount to be spent = $280

Number of hours, n = ?

According to the question,

60n + 10 < = 280

60n < = 280 - 10

60n < = 270

However for whole number of hours, n = 4

Therefore, Maria can rent the boat for 4 hours
