Which number sentences show how to solve the problem?

The garden club wants to buy 48 rose bushes for 4 city parks. Each rose bush costs $12. Each park gets the same number of rose bushes. How much will the rose bushes for each park cost?

    Well there two different answers to this problem and they are B and D

    B and D.

    B finds the price for all the rose bushes first, then finds the price for each park.

    D finds how many bushes will go in each park first, then finds the price the park will pay.

    They are answering the same question, just in a different order.
