Robby and his friend, Sal, are at the top of a lookout tower. Sal dares Robby to drop one of his favorite pair of Jordan's from the top of the 250-foot platform. The height h of the shoe in feet after t seconds is modeled by the function h (t) = - 16^2+250. How long will it take, in seconds, for the shoe to reach the ground?

    When it will hit the ground then height is 0

    h (t) = - 16^2+250

    -16^2+250=0

    16t^2=250

    t^2=250/16

    t=3.95 seconds
