The number of cats neither old or favorite = 114

    Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of cats = 125

    Old cats = 7

    Favorite cats = 9

Both favorite and old = 5

    Number of cats either old or favorite = 7 + 9 - 5 = 11

⇒ Number of cats neither old or favorite = Total number of cats - Number of cats either old or favorite

    ⇒ Number of cats neither old or favorite = 125 - 11 = 114

These are the number of cats neither old or favorite.
