    P = 700 = 2l + 2w and l = w + 90

    700 = 2 (w+90) + 2w

    700 = 2w + 2w + 180

    700 - 180 = 4w

    520 = 4w

    w = 520 : 4

    w = 130 yards

    l = 130 + 90

    l = 220

    Use system of equations. We know l=w+90 and 2w+2l=700. Substitute w+90 in for l and solve.

    l=220

    w=130
