First you must bring all x on one side and all normal numbers on the other side:
6x+3 = 5x - 5) - 5x
1x + 3 = - 5) - 3
1x = - 8
At last you must divide 8 by the number, that is multiplied with x:
1x = - 8) : 1
x = - 8
