For ∆ABC, m∠A = (2x+3) °, m∠B = (x+5) °, and m∠C = (3x+4) °. What is the measure of angle A?

    m∠A + m∠B + m∠C = 180

    2x+3 + x + 5 + 3x + 4 = 180

    6x + 12 = 180

    6x = 180 - 12

    6x = 168

    x = 168/6

    x = 28

    m∠A = (2x+3) = 2 (28) + 3 = 56 + 3 = 59
