TSA of the 4cm cube is

    6L^2

    6*4^2

    6*16

    =96cm square

    TSA of 1cm cube

    6L^2

    6*1^2

    =6*1

    =6

Then we will divide to see how many small cubes we will have

    From this big cube

    96:6=16 cubes

So TSA of 16 small cubes

    =6 * 16

    =96 cm square
