The length of a rectangle is three times its width. One way to write an expression to find the perimeter would be

W + W + 3W + 3W.

Write the expression in two other different ways.

    It could be written as 8w the simplified version of the example.

    Or you could write it as 2 (3w + w) which is 2 time the length and width.
