    Step-by-step explanation: 2/3

The probability that it will not be white is the same as 1 - probability that it is white. That is

    P (not w) = 1 - P (w)

    P (w) = number of white / total number

    P (w) = 16/48

    P (w) = 1/3

    Therefore:

    P (not w) = 1 - 1/3

    P (not w) = 2/3

Therefore, the probability that the marble drawn will not be white = 2/3

    Total marbles: 8 + 16 + 14 + 10 = 48

    Marbles that are not white: 48 - 16 = 32

Probability it will not be white: 32/48 = 2/3
