    Dax goes to the store to buy milk. There is a sale for milk, and it now costs 3 dollars since it was 60% off. What was the original price of the milk?

    3 - 60

    x - 100

    Cross multiply

    300=60x

    5=x

    The milk original cost 5 dollars.
