Hence total of 43 percentage of athletes will test positive.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given:

    70% of athletes test positive.

and 30 % of all athletes uses steriods.

    To Find:

    % of athletes test positive.

    Solution:

We know that percentage is given,

    Required % = [Actual uses steroids/Total Positive test]*100

    Consider there are 100 athletes

So 70% has positive test=70 athletes test positive

    30 % uses steroids=30 athletes uses steroids.

    Hence

Percentage of athletes that will test positive will be,

    =Actual uses steroids / Total positive test]*100

    =[30/70]*100

    =[3/7]*100

    =0.4286 * 100

    =42.86%

    =43%
