A side of a regular pentatgon is 20 inches in length.

Find the length of the apothem of the pentagon to the nearest tenthg of an inch.

    Area of regular pentagon = (½) (apothem) (perimeter) apothem = 6 inch perimeter = 5 * 8.7 = 43.5 area of regular pentagon = ½ * 6 * 43.5 = 130.5 square inches
