You will receive a $5 gift card (18/6) Both a gift card and t-shirt will be in position 24 As lowest common multiple of 6 and 8 is 24 So places away from you is (24-18) = 6

It's all about proportion. If you divide 18 by 5, it doesn't work. If you divide 18 by 6, it works.
