kiara baked 12 oatmeal cookies and chocolate chip cookies to package in plastic containers for her friends at school. she wants to divide the cookies into identical containers so that each container has the same number of each kind of cookies. if she wants each container to have the greatest number of cookies possible, how many containers does she need

    she will need 2, because the greatest amount of both cookies should be 12 if both are combined. So, split them into 6 cookies to go in 1 container each. Unless it's 12 oatmeal and 12 chocolate chip, but, it'll still be the same answer
