    (g o f) (-5) = g (f (-5))

    first evaluate f (-5), then input the result into g (x)

    f (-5) = - 2 (-5) - 7

    f (-5) = 10-7

    f (-5) = 3

    g (3) = - 4 (3) + 6

    g (3) = - 12+6

    g (3) = - 6

    (g o f) (-5) = - 6
