How do you factor out the trinomial: 6x²+14x+4

    6x² + 14x + 4

    sum: 14 (12+2=14)

    product: (6 * 4 = 24) (12*2=24)

    6x² + 12x + 2x + 4

    6x (x + 2) + 2 (x + 2)

    (6x + 2) (x + 2)
