    Given:

    10 people

    2 bottle each person

    10 x 2 = 20 bottles

    20 bottles of soda at 1.50 each: 20 * 1.50 = 30; unit cost = 1.50

    4 six-packs of soda at 5 each : 4 * 5 = 20; unit cost = 20/24 = 0.83

    one case of 24 sodas at 18.50; unit cost = 18.50/24 = 0.77

    two cases of 24 sodas at 18.50 each; unit cost = 37/48 = 0.77

Mr. and Mrs. Atoll only need at least 20 bottles. It is more economical to buy one case of 24 sodas at 18.50.
