A newspaper carrier has $6.40in change. he has two more quarters than dimes but five times as many nickels as quarters. how many coins of each type does he have

    He has 11 quarters, 9 dimes, and 55 nickels.

    11x. 25=2.75

    9x. 1=.9

    55x. 05=2.75

    2.75+2.75+.9=6.4
