The ratio of males to females at a party is 3:5

There are 12 more females than males.

How many people are at the party?

    since there are 12 more females that means that, since the ratio is defferenced by 2, 1 is equal to 6. Threfor, there are 5*6+3*6 people at the party - > 30+18 = 48 people
