better chance without replacing first marble

    Step-by-step explanation:

okay so we have to what ifs

first we should find how many marbles there are total

    5+8+4+3=20

the probability drawing a red marble first is 5/20, or 1/4 whether you replace it or not.

    if we don't replace it,

we now have 19 marbles, 8 of which would be blue.

so the probability of then drawing a blue marble would be 8/19

on the other hand, if we replace it, the probability of drawing a blue would be 8/20 or 2/5

    that is less that 8/19

so you have a better chance of drawing a red then blue marble without replacing the first marble
