A the length of a room is 10 1/2 feet. What is the length of the room in inches?

    Every foot is 12 inches and a half foot is 6 inches. So if you were to multiply 10 (the number of feet) by 12 (inches in 1 foot) then add the half foot (6 inches) you would get 10*12 = 120. 120 + 6=126
