Keisha bought 3 loaves of corn bread to football party. 5/12 of each loaf was eaten. If Keisha gave 1 whole loaf of the leftover bread of the party hosts, what part of a loaf did she have left to take home?

    3 loaves = 12/12

    takes 5/12 from each loaf leaving 7/12

    7/12

    now she gave one whole one away in order to make a whole loaf you have to subtract from one loaf leaving 2/12. so now you have

    7/12

    And

    2/12 = 9/12 or 3/4 of a loaf
