Well firstly we must find the amount of minutes spent watching.

Which is 3 * 60 = 180mins.

Then we find 1/6 of 180 = 30

We now know Cody has watch 30 minute of the movie.

To find what fraction this is of an hour we divide it by minutes in an hour:

30/60 which is 1/2

Therefore the answer is 1/2 of an hour
