First we have to write down what we know and that is 35ft of window trim is what he has and for each foot of the 35 is a $1.75. so-->35 (1.75) - - > this is 61.25 or $61.25. He used 100.00 to pay so he did not use all of the 100. 100-61.25 = is how much salid should recieve back which is $38.75.

If you would like to know how much change should Salid have received, you can calculate this using the following steps:

    35 feet * $1.75 per foot = 35 * 1.75 = $61.25

    $100.00 - $61.25 = $38.75

Result: Salid should have received $38.75.
