    first side: x-8

    2nd side: x

    3rd side: 4 (x-8)

    write equation:

    x+x-8+4 (x-8) = 26

    x+x-8+4x-32=26

    6x-40=26

    add 40 to each side

    6x=66

    divide both sides by 6

    x=11 2nd side

    x-8=11-8=3 1st side

    4 (x-8) = 4x-32=4 (11) - 32=44-32=12 3rd side

    3, 11, & 12 are the 3 sides
