Jake sold 28 tickets to the school fair, and Jeanne sold 21 tickets. what is the ratio, in simplest form, of the number of tickets Jeanne sold to the number of tickets Jake sold?

    The ratio would be 4:3 because 7 can go into both 28 and 21. When you divide 7 by 28 you get 4 and 21 you get 3.

    Jake sold 28 tickets and Jeanne sold 21. And we told to make the ratio Jeanne to Jake.

    21:28 or 21/28

    Simplify: Divide top and bottom by 7

    Now the answer is 3:4 or 3/4
