    Method-1 (Guessing method):

    Now if a = 10, b + c = 6; we can say that b = 3 and c = 3 would satisfy the condition of b+c = 6.

    Plug in the values of a, b and c in (1):

    (1) = > (3+3) * 10 = (3*10) + (3*10)

    Hence 6*10 is the required expression.

    Method-2 (Solving in reverse):

    Given: (3x10) + (3x10)

    Take 10 out as common:

    (3+3) * 10

    As you can see the expression above satisfies the distributive propery mentioned above as (1).

    (3x10) + (3x10) = (3+3) * 10 = 6*10
