If the diameter of a circle is 6 inches, how long is the arc subtended by an angle measuring 70°?

    A / (2πd/2) = 70/360

    a / (πd) = 7/36

    a=7πd/36 and d=6 so

    a=42π/36

    a=7π/6 inches

    a≈3.67 inches (to nearest hundredth of an inch)
