    The smaller the p value the strong the evidence that you should reject the null hypothesis. That means alternative hypothesis is strong.

    For p < = 0.05 we will reject the null hypothesis

    And p > 0.05 we fail to reject the null hypothesis. That is alternative hypothesis is not so strong.
